Base Salary
$106k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, launch, and maintain critical user-facing features in Verily’s Android app.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with mobile, backend, frontend, UX, Product, Test, and Quality Engineering teams.
- Coordinate with iOS engineers to maintain cross-platform consistency and improve mobile developer productivity.
- Work with Product, UX, and Quality to define requirements, design mocks, implement regulatory protocols, and communicate engineering tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least 2 years of industry experience developing Android mobile applications, including internships.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and communication and collaboration skills.
- Native Android app development experience in Kotlin.
- Knowledge of modern Android frameworks and architecture, such as Jetpack Compose, is preferred.
- Familiarity with automated testing is preferred.
- Some full-stack development experience, including backend services and web frontends, is preferred.
- Experience building high-quality public-facing Android apps is preferred.
