Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed within customer engineering organizations to design and build agent-driven automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Write production code connecting Harness AI Agents to customer pipelines, repositories, ITSM tooling, security systems, and infrastructure.
- Translate approved plans into working software by partnering directly with customer engineers and Harness delivery teams.
- Prototype, ship incrementally, and iterate with customer engineers until integrations are live in production.
- Create reusable patterns and templates, share feedback with Harness product and engineering teams, and support customer transition to steady-state operation.
- Travel to customer sites for active build engagements as needed.
Requirements
- Platform engineering or software engineering background with hands-on coding, scripting, integration, and experience working in customer codebases, infrastructure workflows, and CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience building integrations against APIs, event-driven systems, or LLM and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Prior experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, architecture, or embedded consulting work measured by working software delivery.
- Strong grounding in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, plus depth in an adjacent domain such as security, observability, or cost management.
- Ability to work from business objectives and agent capability boundaries to create working integrations without a pre-written specification.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills and ability to work directly with customer engineers while aligning internal stakeholders.
