Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor core business-logic software and define SLOs or SLAs.
- Extend and monitor the infrastructure stack for business-critical usage.
- Maintain a model of systems for risk estimation and project planning.
- Collaborate with engineering and leadership on site reliability expertise.
- Work on core orchestration logic for running workflows efficiently.
- Advise on major backend engineering projects from planning to release.
- Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability.
- Improve developer experience and engineering processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or Platform engineering experience.
- Proven record of building efficient and performant systems.
- Experience maintaining quantitative metrics of site reliability.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid team environment.
