Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions protecting critical assets.
- Perform threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing for high-risk platforms and services.
- Integrate and configure information security technologies in production environments.
- Diagnose challenging security issues and create reusable solutions for recurring problems.
- Assess emerging security threats, tools, and architectural options and provide technical recommendations.
- Apply secure architecture, secure-by-design practices, and governance controls throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop security baselines, guardrails, and control patterns supporting regulatory and policy compliance.
- Lead major incident response and forensic activities and improve related playbooks and processes.
- Provide technical coaching, training, code reviews, and design reviews for security engineers.
- Lead complex security engineering initiatives, delegate work, review outputs, and ensure delivery against objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, theories, concepts, threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
- Experience applying security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or MBA, ten years of experience or an equivalent combination, banking or financial services experience, and relevant security or technical certifications.
- Preferred technical expertise includes Cisco Firepower FTD, Cisco ASA, AWS GuardDuty, and network security policy management technologies.
