Responsibilities
- Perform software testing of HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and PROFIBUS communication protocol-supported eDD for usability.
- Test HART-, Foundation Fieldbus-, and PROFIBUS-based field-device integration with DeltaV and AMS systems.
- Write test plans and log issues in the issue database.
- Communicate test metrics and status to the lead at periodic intervals.
- Work on test automation where applicable.
- Diagnose issues and understand customer needs.
Requirements
- Experience with process field devices such as flow, level, temperature, and pressure devices, and final-control devices such as control valves.
- Experience with HART, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS, and Modbus industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with an Asset Management System such as AMS/HH475 or a Distributed Control System such as DeltaV.
- Very good written and communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- ISTQB certification, software testing knowledge, and test automation knowledge or experience are nice to have.
