Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
- Design, implement, optimize, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology solutions.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption initiatives across hybrid environments.
- Provide technical leadership for high availability, scalability, security, and resiliency improvements.
- Partner with application, platform, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Drive automation through Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
- Debug and resolve highly visible production incidents and provide production support.
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and guide less experienced staff.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Expert knowledge of F5 BIG-IP and AVI Load Balancer platforms, including LTM, GTM, DNS, and WAF capabilities.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, SSL/TLS, and application networking.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and production support skills.
- Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is desired.
- F5, VMware, Cisco, or cloud certifications are desired.
- Experience with WAF, Global Load Balancing, Zero Trust, and Site Reliability Engineering is desired.
