Responsibilities
- Participate in software requirements definition, architecture, analysis, design, development, validation, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain software architecture for optical-instrument control products.
- Write technical specifications and configure project dependencies and component relationships.
- Create or modify automated tests and verify that code meets functional requirements.
- Integrate software components into the platform and contribute to continuous application improvement.
Requirements
- Five to ten years of relevant experience in a research and development environment or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of one or more programming languages and associated development tools, including C++, C#, or equivalent.
- Experience integrating software with hardware and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of layered and component-based software development, encapsulation, abstraction, software reuse, source management, and version control.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and ability to write technical documentation.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English; English is essential for collaboration with international teams, partners, and customers.
