Responsibilities
- Review and analyze software requirements and specifications.
- Create checklists, test suites, test plans, bug reports, tasks, and test reports.
- Perform functional, load, stress, UI, API, and mobile application testing.
- Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated test cases and test frameworks.
- Set up and maintain test environments, test data, and device farms.
- Run automated tests through CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results and failures.
- Distinguish real defects from flaky tests and report, validate, and track defects.
- Maintain and improve test framework stability and testing processes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience, including at least 1 year in test automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, approaches, best practices, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience creating and reviewing test cases, checklists, and test plans.
- Experience with functional, load, stress, and mobile application testing on Android and iOS.
- Experience building or improving testing processes from scratch.
- Base programming skills in Java and understanding of programming patterns and principles.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and Java for mobile test automation of Android and iOS hybrid applications.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Git, SVN, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP-based technologies, relational databases, SQL, and XML.
- Familiarity with BDD, ATDD, and TDD approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience using AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor is a preferred qualification.
