Senior Staff Software Engineer- Networking

Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and architecture for next-generation network connectivity and observability services.
- Own and drive the design of large-scale connectivity platforms connecting the control plane and compute plane.
- Improve the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of compute infrastructure and cloud resource usage.
- Set org-wide technical direction and lead complex cross-team initiatives.
- Work with product management, operations, and partner engineering teams to translate business goals into durable networking systems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- 15+ years of production-level experience with Rust, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- 10+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with cloud networking, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation languages such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Ability to set technical direction, lead complex cross-team initiatives, mentor senior engineers, and influence architecture and execution across teams.
