Base Salary
$115k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and support infrastructure for AI model inference under senior-engineer guidance.
- Develop and maintain production AI services and applications, including RAG and autonomous agents.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC principles.
- Help ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of AI platform components.
- Follow security best practices for AI systems and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to shared engineering standards.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or two additional years of experience in place of the degree.
- Three years of software development experience.
- One listed certification: AWS Certified Developer—Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning—Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning—Specialty, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience contributing to production systems and familiarity with high-volume web application architectures.
- Exposure to cloud engineering, preferably AWS, and working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to fast-moving environments, communicate effectively, and collaborate.
