Base Salary
$95k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own agent-powered features end to end, including prompt and orchestration logic, backend implementation, and clinician-facing UI.
- Translate loosely specified feature ideas into designed, implemented, and measured product releases.
- Build and extend evaluation coverage for shipped features.
- Create richer in-chat results and interactive views for presenting agent output.
- Improve the synthetic data simulator and surrounding tooling.
- Collaborate across squad boundaries with Product to deliver agent features in the clinical experience.
- Pair with the engineer leading agent development to ship production improvements and evaluation coverage.
- Own an agent surface independently by the third month.
Requirements
- Current software engineering development skills with TypeScript and Ruby experience.
- Ability to treat prompts and models as components of a system and own work from backend through UI.
- Strong judgment for maintaining clean boundaries across end-to-end product surfaces.
- Preference for measurable, honest evaluation over demonstrations without evidence.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and without an established playbook.
- Experience working with coding agents and spec-driven development as part of an AI-assisted development workflow.
