Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, resilient AI solutions using agentic systems, LLMs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Define enterprise-wide technical direction, architecture patterns, integration standards, and reusable platform capabilities.
- Lead AI-driven modernization of legacy systems through automated code transformation, service decomposition, and continuous optimization.
- Design and implement AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.
- Establish technical standards, governance frameworks, monitoring, evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
- Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-assisted development and improve system performance and productivity.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and influence on enterprise technology decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus at least 15 years of software engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience leading, designing, implementing, and operating distributed systems and large-scale architectures.
- Experience developing software with Python, Java, or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience designing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures and applying cloud, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Preferred experience delivering enterprise AI solutions across healthcare domains such as claims, payment integrity, care management, pharmacy, and clinical operations.
- Preferred expertise in agentic AI, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs, semantic layers, ontologies, conversational analytics, AI orchestration, and intelligent automation.
- Preferred experience with Apache Iceberg, data catalogs, metadata management, semantic models, data products, and interoperable data ecosystems.
- Preferred experience building AI platforms with AI gateways, semantic models, vector databases, governance, security, and responsible AI.
- Preferred healthcare payer experience, including healthcare data, FHIR/HL7 interoperability, and regulated environments.
- Preferred experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, machine learning, generative AI, enterprise architecture, and mentoring engineering teams.
