Base Salary
$140k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and engineering for identity security across user, development, and production domains.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and education to engineers, security teams, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Define roadmaps for securing identities while balancing usability, reliability, and business impact.
- Build automation for security controls, compliance evidence, detection, protection, and validation.
- Conduct adversarial testing, advanced research, experiments, and proofs of concept for identity systems.
- Collaborate with IAM engineering, cybersecurity, auditors, and cross-functional leaders to address threats and non-compliance.
- Demonstrate the business value, resilience, and operational impact of security initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a dedicated security role and 5+ years in security, identity, architecture, and design.
- 3+ years in a senior security role influencing security strategy and 3+ years with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud providers.
- Extensive experience with Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Deep experience with privileged access management tools and services and with offensive and defensive security.
- Experience designing scalable security systems with REST APIs and modern security architecture patterns.
- Experience across Linux, Mac, and Windows environments and with security controls, audits, compliance, and third-party attestations.
- Fluency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or Go.
- Expertise in cryptographic protocols, digital certificates, and encryption standards including X.509, TLS, and AES.
- Knowledge of ITDR, EPM, MITRE, CIS, NIST, PCI, and SOC requirements and frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent education with work experience.
- Desired certifications include CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK, CCSP, CEH, C|CISO, and related GIAC certifications.
- Practical education or experience in penetration testing, test scripting, exploit detection, evasion techniques, and countermeasure development.
