Base Salary
$82k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end features for mission-critical web applications.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, lead subsystem architecture, and translate guidance into concrete designs.
- Write high-quality, test-driven code using React, TypeScript, and Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce software standards, develop and execute software tests, and prepare technical documentation.
- Partner with product managers, principal architects, customers, and stakeholders to deliver releases and clarify requirements.
- Participate in client demonstrations and program reviews as a technical subject-matter expert.
- Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive solutions to complex problems.
- Mentor less experienced staff and lead a small team of software developers on projects.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in software engineering or a related field, including 5–7 years of full-stack development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, a modern backend language such as Node.js, Python, or Java, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with authentication standards including OAuth and OIDC.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or a similar tool, Git, and CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Active Secret clearance is required or desired, with Top Secret preferred, and applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts, cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, cloud CI/CD automation, mentoring junior engineers, or leading a small scrum team.

- Base salary range of $82,300.00–$220,000.00, excluding bonuses and benefits.
