Responsibilities
- Own the full nine-layer architecture from connector ingestion through MCP Gateway, agent orchestration, and enterprise UI.
- Lead architecture decision records, design reviews, technology approval processes, and enterprise architecture board presentations.
- Design the LangGraph-based stateful agent core, hybrid BM25 and vector retrieval pipeline, context packer, and Bedrock model routing strategy.
- Architect the MCP Gateway with per-agent RBAC, rate limiting, token budget enforcement, and audit trails.
- Own entity resolution, master index, graph, and knowledge architecture across nine heterogeneous source systems.
- Define Bedrock model tiering, cross-region inference, PII/PCI guardrails, and the RAGAS evaluation pipeline.
- Mentor AI-native engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and establish observability, testing, and idempotent pipeline standards.
- Partner with the Product Owner to translate business use cases into architecture across AI Productivity, AI First Change, and AI First Run workstreams.
- Define enterprise patterns for SPIFFE/SVID zero-trust mesh, multi-tenant graph isolation, and longitudinal learning.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience is required; the summary also states that a minimum of two years is required in the role.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Deep expertise building multi-node, stateful agents with LangGraph, LangChain, or an equivalent framework.
- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS Fargate, Neptune Serverless, OpenSearch Serverless, Bedrock, ElastiCache, RDS, Secrets Manager, and IAM/IRSA.
- Experience with OpenCypher, Neptune, entity-relationship modeling, vector search, embedding models, BM25, dense and sparse fusion, and RAGAS evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and production-grade asynchronous service design.
- Experience designing zero-trust networking, SPIFFE/SVID, mTLS, workload identity, and PII/PCI guardrails.
- Experience with knowledge graphs, entity resolution, blocking, matching, survivorship, and master data management.
- Experience with OTel/ADOT, distributed tracing, Terraform or AWS CDK, and infrastructure as code at scale.
- Ability to lead enterprise architecture approval processes and present complex technical strategy to executive and business stakeholders.
