Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, modernize, and support full-stack enterprise web applications.
- Build scalable backend applications, business logic, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive and reusable user interfaces using Angular, React, and JavaScript.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, databases, and enterprise services.
- Develop SQL queries and application data models using PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, and other relational databases.
- Translate business and user requirements into technical designs and working software.
- Participate in application architecture and technical design decisions, coding standards, and software engineering practices.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide technical feedback to other developers.
- Develop unit, integration, regression, and automated tests using relevant testing technologies.
- Use Git and GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Maintain applications integrated with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on deployments and environment issues.
- Troubleshoot application defects, integration problems, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Use Splunk and New Relic to analyze logs, traces, metrics, and performance data.
- Perform root-cause analysis and support vulnerability remediation and secure software development activities.
- Collaborate across development, UX, QA, DevOps, architecture, and product teams.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular, React, and JavaScript, including contributions to both frontend and backend development.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience integrating Angular or React applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, or comparable relational databases.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, automated testing, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience troubleshooting application and production issues.
- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Preferred experience with AWS cloud environments, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, New Relic, Aurora, DynamoDB, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and legacy application modernization.
- Preferred familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
