Responsibilities

  • Build components and pipelines for end-to-end data solutions for simple business problems with the team.
  • Develop and maintain software, data, analytical, operational, and self-service applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Analyze and organize data to deliver business insights.
  • Perform basic unit and functional testing and follow team-defined integration test plans.
  • Follow source control and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices for testing and deployment.
  • Review technical documents, designs, code, and demonstrations to align with team practices.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, assist with root cause analysis, and support compliance with governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Help implement infrastructure-related projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completed coursework or a program focused on software development or related skills, such as technology-related college coursework, a bootcamp, certification program, or coding academy.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
  • Preferred: one year of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Preferred: one year of experience with object-oriented or structured programming, SQL, and scripting.
  • Preferred: one year of experience with big data technology and cloud big data technologies.
