Base Salary
$127k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with training staff and stakeholders to gather requirements and identify process improvements.
- Develop and test AI-driven solutions for readiness and certification workflows under senior-engineer guidance.
- Configure AI harnesses and develop custom Skills and Model Context Protocol servers connecting AI workflows with organizational data and tools.
- Support prototyping, coding, testing, and delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python and Bash.
- Use AI tools to draft, review, and maintain user documentation.
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for new AI tools.
- Apply coding standards, version control practices, and code review processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, with an additional four years of experience accepted in substitution.
- Three years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including Git, testing, and debugging.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and workflow automation applications.
- Ability to develop clear, organized technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from senior engineers and subject matter experts.
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
