Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and integrate software solutions for production AI/ML applications in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Build and maintain ML models, pipelines, development tools, infrastructure, and platform capabilities end to end.
- Improve the scalability, maintainability, security, quality, reliability, and user experience of the AI platform.
- Troubleshoot and debug ML software systems, identify root causes, and develop tools that reduce troubleshooting cost and response time.
- Automate and improve software development and release processes.
- Understand end-user use cases and system architecture while engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, huddles, paired programming, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Verify functional and non-functional feature quality and take ownership of developed features.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree or having completed the third year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI coding assistants, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex.
- Strong software engineering and Python programming skills, including experience with libraries such as Pandas and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes at scale, including Helm and Argo Workflows.
- Working experience with Azure or GCP cloud environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, including window functions, aggregate functions, and joins.
- Understanding of distributed computing architectures and experience with machine learning solutions and productization.
- Ability to understand end-user needs, solve complex technical problems methodically, collaborate effectively, communicate complex concepts clearly, and learn new technologies.
