
Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture - Data & AI

- Lead presales scope definition, technical solution design, work planning, and presentations of data and AI capabilities to prospective clients.
- Lead technical architecture and discovery projects for client data products and solutions using consulting methods.
- Design scalable data pipelines, machine learning model architectures, and MLOps frameworks.
- Own a Data and AI technology vertical, including solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership.
- Provide account-level architectural guidance and subject-matter expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Estimate team composition, project scope, resource needs, budgets, fees, and delivery plans for data and AI engagements.
- Collaborate with prospective clients, executive stakeholders, and delivery teams from presales through post-sale execution.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise with one or more major cloud data, lakehouse, or data warehousing platforms, including Databricks or Snowflake.
- Proficiency with cloud-native AI/ML platforms such as AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform/Vertex AI.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing data and AI solutions.
- Knowledge of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time analytics.
- Working knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, MLOps, agentic AI, and large language models.
- Understanding of MLOps principles and CI/CD tools for machine learning models.
- Familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with software estimation, work planning, and project plan development within time and cost constraints.
- Experience delivering software or data solutions in an agency or client-services environment.
- Ability to explain complex data and AI concepts to technical, non-technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience in commercial discussions involving budgets and fees for data and AI initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Ability to apply repeatable frameworks and best practices to integrate new data technologies and AI concepts.
- Comfort working across both presales and post-sale environments and interest in expanding client accounts holistically.
