Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, document, test, and iterate on software for robotic factory installation systems.
- Develop perception, motion planning, and controls software for reliable robot operation in unstructured environments.
- Contribute to low-level software for robotic systems with an emphasis on correctness and safety.
- Control industrial automation hardware including linear actuators, motors, and hydraulic systems.
Requirements
- Experienced Python developer with knowledge of at least one lower-level language like C++.
- Experience writing real-time, embedded, or robotics software.
- Ability to develop highly performant software, including writing clean code and using version control.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to the SF Bay Area and work from the San Leandro HQ.
- Open to ~10% travel to solar construction sites.
