Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality Python applications following software engineering best practices.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Develop ETL/ELT frameworks for ingesting, transforming, validating, and serving data from enterprise systems.
- Build and optimize data models, data lakes, and analytics-ready datasets.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
- Implement DataOps, MLOps, observability, REST API, deployment, and production monitoring solutions.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, defect analysis, and retesting.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, test procedures, and deployment standards.
- Support design discussions, project execution, order execution, system reliability, and production performance.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience with hands-on software development projects.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology with a minimum of 70%.
- Excellent Python coding experience.
- Knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, algorithms, and common machine learning approaches.
- Experience with the Python data science ecosystem, including pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Knowledge of coding standards, version management such as Git or Bitbucket, build processes, packaging, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Working experience with REST APIs and RESTful standards.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and pair programming.
- Strong teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service-oriented skills.
