Base Salary
$119k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projects using GitLab.
- Design, implement, and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to meet embedded-systems requirements.
- Integrate version control, build tools, test frameworks, and deployment systems into cohesive pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance, bottlenecks, and failures.
- Stay current with CI/CD and embedded-development tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree.
- Experience administering and deploying to Red Hat Linux environments.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar pipeline tools.
- Experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for pipeline automation.
- Experience with Git or similar version-control systems and branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, QEMU, or similar containerization and virtualization tools in embedded contexts.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded software toolchain knowledge such as GCC, Keil, or IAR.
- Preferred qualifications include hardware-in-the-loop testing experience, RTOS integration familiarity, and knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools.
