Base Salary
$235k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Databricks workspaces in AWS, including networking, identity, and storage.
- Integrate Databricks with existing data sources, pipelines, and AWS services.
- Build, administer, and harden RHEL systems supporting the platform.
- Apply federal security controls, including STIGs and NIST 800-53.
- Automate deployment and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting.
- Troubleshoot platform, performance, and integration issues.
- Write documentation and train customer staff.
Requirements
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
- At least one of RHCSA/RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified AI Practitioner is required.
- Hands-on experience deploying and integrating Databricks is required.
- Strong RHEL administration skills and AWS experience are required.
- Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance is required.
- Experience deploying Databricks in government or other highly secure environments is preferred.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Python, and SQL is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or data engineering is required.
- An active Secret clearance or higher is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
