Base Salary
$124k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-quality software systems using Python and Kotlin.
- Create tools and libraries to support web applications.
- Maintain and improve test, build, and release pipelines.
- Provide guidance on core application architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers on project definition and delivery.
- Integrate Affirm’s systems with third-party solutions like Salesforce.
- Support software system inquiries and tooling.
- Debug code issues using data and stack trace analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in software application development, particularly with Kotlin and Python.
- Familiarity with MySQL and Flask.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodology.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks for unit and integration tests.
- Ability to design service-oriented architecture for scalable systems.
