Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and deploy scalable automated web UI testing frameworks integrated with real-time navigation systems.
- Integrate automated UI test suites into continuous integration pipelines to prevent regressions before production releases.
- Maintain, update, and optimize real-time navigation simulation scenarios and automated test workflows with test engineers and software developers.
- Execute end-to-end tests across web interfaces and simulation layers, analyze performance, and provide detailed technical feedback.
Requirements
- Be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Be available for a full-time 16-month placement starting in May 2027 in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
- Submit a personal or public code repository such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket with original code samples.
- Demonstrate programming ability in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java and solid Git version control skills.
- Have hands-on experience or coursework with web UI automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop testing, Spirent automation tools, location simulation software, spatial data, mapping interfaces, WebSockets, REST APIs, or CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
