Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade web applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop reusable, responsive, scalable frontend components and translate product requirements and designs into user experiences.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, Socket.IO, and RabbitMQ-connected event-driven systems.
- Manage server state with React Query/TanStack Query and client-side state with Redux/Redux Toolkit when appropriate.
- Handle real-time updates, reconnection, duplicate events, stale data, race conditions, errors, and UI synchronization.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright.
- Debug issues, identify regressions and edge cases, participate in code reviews, and improve frontend architecture and maintainability.
- Use AI coding tools to research, implement, debug, test, and refactor while reviewing generated code for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Own work from requirements through implementation, testing, review, and production, while collaborating with frontend, backend, QA, product, and design teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- 0–2 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals and hands-on React experience.
- Good understanding of TypeScript, React components, hooks, state management, rendering, and component lifecycle.
- Experience integrating applications with APIs and handling asynchronous data.
- Familiarity with React Query/TanStack Query, Redux/Redux Toolkit, Jest, Playwright, WebSockets/Socket.IO, and RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of frontend testing, real-time architectures, message queues, event-driven systems, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to debug root causes and write clean, readable, maintainable code.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve software engineering productivity.
- Strong willingness to learn, communicate, collaborate, and continuously improve.
