Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack enterprise application functionality.
- Write and maintain SQL code, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and complex queries.
- Enhance and support enterprise software written in VB.NET and web applications using ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Configure software through database entries and custom scripts.
- Estimate work, commit to delivery timelines, communicate risks, and own assignments through deployment readiness.
- Troubleshoot defects, identify root causes, implement preventative fixes, and reduce technical debt through refactoring.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, requirements validation, peer code reviews, and production-readiness checks.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure delivered work meets acceptance criteria and Definition of Done standards.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Analysts, Account Managers, DevOps, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Support release activities, deployment validation, post-release verification, and production issue resolution during business hours.
- Follow secure coding, data privacy, compliance, and sensitive-data handling requirements.
- Contribute to improvements in development, estimation, delivery practices, tooling, and team standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent coursework in a related specialized field in lieu of experience.
- At least 18 months of SQL experience and successful completion of a SQL test during the interview process.
- Proficiency across the application stack and the ability to develop deeper expertise in areas required by the team.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft .NET, including VB, C#, or ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, and RESTful APIs.
- Preferred knowledge of Agile development methodology.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, estimation, and accountability skills.
