Responsibilities
- Develop software and technical solutions for accounting and financial problems.
- Work directly with clients to understand complex finance and accounting processes and explain technical solutions in business terms.
- Present work to client experts and collaborate on suitable solutions.
- Build solutions ranging from scripts and VBA macros to full applications using Vue, TypeScript, and FastAPI.
- Deploy applications on client Kubernetes infrastructure and work across varying legacy codebases.
- Extend legacy VBA macros, optimize revenue-prediction models, and help refactor legacy frontends.
Requirements
- Be a current master’s student or recent graduate in IT or finance.
- Have an IT or finance background or programming experience gained through personal projects.
- Have very good Czech or Slovak and English language skills.
- Have an interest in communication and direct interaction with people, along with care and attention to detail.
- Have experience working with data, such as SQL, MS Excel, Power BI, or R.
- Basic programming knowledge is advantageous, especially Python with FastAPI, VBA, TypeScript or JavaScript, and Vue 3.
- Experience with international training or internships is advantageous but not required.
