Responsibilities

  • Triage, investigate, and respond to critical vulnerabilities affecting Roche systems and applications.
  • Evaluate and prioritize vulnerabilities from security tools, external programs, and bug bounty initiatives.
  • Research emerging threats and assess exploitability across Roche’s attack surface.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to drive remediation.
  • Assess systems and web applications using automated and manual testing approaches.
  • Engineer and improve vulnerability scanning, detection, automation, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Develop scripts, detection logic, templates, and automation workflows.
  • Contribute to global security monitoring, incident response, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of professional information security experience with vulnerability triage, analysis, and escalation experience.
  • Strong understanding of web application, network, endpoint, and cloud security concepts, including vulnerability or attack surface management in complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on scripting or programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js, plus familiarity with security tooling, detection logic, automation, or custom scripting.
  • Experience validating vulnerabilities, assessing exploitability, and supporting security monitoring or incident response.
  • Ability to communicate technical risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders while balancing operational and research priorities.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Industry certifications such as OSCP, GWAPT, or OSWE and enterprise cloud security experience are considered strong assets.
  • Exposure to open-source security projects or modern AI-assisted engineering workflows is advantageous.
