Base Salary
$112k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, verify assumptions, incorporate feedback, and escalate design or delivery risks.
- Participate in system design, architecture, estimation, and technical documentation.
- Develop, implement, debug, review, and maintain software for products, services, or components.
- Create test plans and configure testing procedures to identify and resolve defects across multiple features.
- Respond to support requests during on-call rotations, troubleshoot issues, and deploy fixes under guidance.
- Contribute across application development, quality engineering, test automation, release validation, and production support.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance through ongoing technical development.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Java/J2EE and JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with Angular, Node.js, Spring, MySQL, and Linux is preferred.
- Experience with web-based or mobile applications, system design, debugging, code review, test planning, software support, and scalable systems is preferred.
- Experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services and working on client-facing project or technical teams is preferred.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD environments, and related tooling is preferred.
- Experience using generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across development, QA, automation testing, and production support functions and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong communication, problem determination, root cause analysis, planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
