Responsibilities
- Manage, secure, and scale AWS cloud environments.
- Provision infrastructure with Terraform and manage configuration with Ansible.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker on AWS ECS or AWS EKS.
- Build and troubleshoot serverless applications with AWS Lambda and Cloudflare Workers.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines exclusively through GitHub Actions.
- Configure content delivery, caching, and routing using Cloudflare and AWS CloudFront.
- Maintain infrastructure monitoring, health tracking, and alerts with Checkmk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Manage firewalls, VPCs, and network routing.
- Troubleshoot and debug live environment issues involving Node.js, PHP, and WordPress applications.
- Support developer teams with reliable infrastructure and continuous integration and delivery capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps managing complex AWS environments.
- Practical understanding of AI concepts, workflows, and tools for platform and engineering operations.
- Strong focus on KPIs, project deadlines, and operational efficiency.
- Expert-level Linux administration knowledge, particularly Ubuntu and Debian.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for Node.js and PHP/WordPress applications.
- Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, ECS, EKS, serverless infrastructure, CI/CD, networking, databases, monitoring, web servers, and scripting languages.
- ArgoCD experience is a plus.
- Appreciation of sports business logic is helpful but not central to the role.
