Responsibilities
- Write production-quality code across services, APIs, workflow engines, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Lead technical execution and delivery for features, services, workflow automation capabilities, or technical workstreams.
- Design and evolve scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, integrations, and event-driven workflows.
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows using LLMs, retrieval patterns, structured outputs, tool/function calling, state management, and human-in-the-loop reviews.
- Integrate AI workflows with enterprise data sources, business applications, APIs, queues, and operational systems.
- Apply grounding, validation, guardrails, prompt/version management, evaluation, monitoring, observability, and feedback loops to production AI systems.
- Contribute to architecture decisions involving service boundaries, integration patterns, data ownership, and AI workflow design.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, design discussions, implementation planning, and AI-assisted development practices.
- Create reusable engineering patterns, examples, prompts, workflows, coding practices, and automation scripts to improve developer productivity.
- Build and maintain containerized SaaS applications, deploy through Kubernetes, and support CI/CD, observability, safe deployments, testing, and production operations.
- Modernize legacy components incrementally and participate across the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience leading delivery of complex features, services, or technical workstreams and mentoring engineers.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, operating, and supporting production software systems.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and modern .NET development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, distributed systems, microservices, integration services, and event-driven workflows.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI workflow orchestration, agentic AI patterns, tool/function calling, context management, structured outputs, and workflow state.
- Experience integrating AI-enabled systems with databases, APIs, queues, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, plus working knowledge of NoSQL data stores, caching, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms, and cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency with Git, pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies, and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Strong understanding of automated testing, observability, secure coding, and production support practices.
- Frontend framework experience such as React or Angular is preferred.
- Experience with Python, Java, TypeScript, message queues, event streaming, workflow orchestration platforms, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs, semantic search, AI evaluation harnesses, prompt/version management, safety checks, governance workflows, or high-throughput SaaS systems is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
