Base Salary
$131k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on practical, scalable architectures with early-stage founders.
- Help startups select foundation models and AI services and build production-ready GenAI applications.
- Advise on GenAI challenges including cost, latency, accuracy, safety, and best practices.
- Help establish data foundations involving vector databases, data pipelines, RAG, and fine-tuning workflows.
- Build relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, and venture capital firms in San Francisco.
- Communicate startup feedback and requirements to product and engineering teams.
- Create technical content including blog posts, reference architectures, and sample code.
- Present at startup events, demo days, and developer meetups.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 4 years of experience in a relevant technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries is preferred.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud is preferred.
- Experience with AWS technologies from a development or operations perspective is preferred.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities is preferred.
