Responsibilities
- Develop, scale, and maintain Reddit’s internal IAM capabilities, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Design and deploy API integrations and custom enterprise IGA connectivity solutions.
- Modernize identity infrastructure and improve self-service identity lifecycle management.
- Integrate corporate identity systems across SCIM, SAML, MCP, agentic use cases, and resource automation.
- Build monitoring frameworks, dashboards, alerting, synthetic transactions, and anomaly detection for high availability.
- Use identity data to track license utilization, support fiscal planning, and drive platform adoption.
- Maintain documentation, audit logs, and reports to improve processes and support compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex production incidents, analyze failure conditions, and perform root-cause analysis for 24x7 operations.
- Guide cross-functional partners on IAM best practices and raise engineering standards through code reviews and technical practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience across databases, networking, and efficient computing.
- Deep experience with the full workforce identity lifecycle, including Joiner, Mover, Leaver, access requests, and certifications.
- Ability to design and implement complex distributed systems operating under high load.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or TypeScript, with end-to-end ownership of testing, monitoring, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and secure-by-design principles.
- Hands-on familiarity with IGA, MFA, PAM/PIM, JIT, Okta, LDAP, and SailPoint.
- Familiarity with SOC2, SOX, and PCI governance and compliance frameworks, including access certification reviews.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in Agile environments, with a continuous learning and problem-solving mindset.

- Interview recording, transcription, and AI summarization may be used, with an opt-out option.
