Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C/C++ using existing tools.
- Perform requirements development, software and systems architecture, design, integration, testing, and verification/validation.
- Develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and support mission systems integration architecture.
- Build and use Python-based testing tools, test automation, and software coverage tools.
- Support customer deployments, fielded product support, production transition, and component-obsolescence changes.
- Provide software leadership and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret U.S. security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes 8+ years of embedded development and 8+ years of C++ systems development.
- Preferred experience includes avionics lifecycle execution, safety-critical software development, and DO-178B-or-higher standards.
- Preferred knowledge includes embedded security, encryption, network storage, Gigabit Ethernet, InfiniBand, RADIUS, LDAP, APIs, BSPs, drivers, OpenGL, Vulkan, H.264, ARINC-818, PTPv2, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience includes hardware/software integration and test, DevSecOps, Python test automation, software leadership, real-time operating systems, Linux development, release engineering, and configuration management.

- No immediate travel is expected, though travel to a customer site in St. Louis, Missouri may be required for program meetings in a software leadership role.
