Base Salary
$99k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support services using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Build, optimize, and maintain production CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
- Configure and tune application gateways and protective cloud controls.
- Manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services while maintaining security and compliance.
- Provision Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across cloud, data center, and edge environments.
- Operate production Kubernetes clusters supporting processing workloads.
- Integrate testing into engineering pipelines and collaborate on platform integration and scaling.
- Establish security best practices, protect data privacy, and develop secure compliant solutions.
- Conduct trade studies evaluating open-source, commercial, and government technologies.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
- BS/BA plus seven years of experience or equivalent is required.
- At least seven years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience is required.
- Extensive hands-on experience with one or more of OpenShift, AWS, GCP, or Rancher is required.
- Expert Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code experience is required.
- Production Kubernetes cluster operations experience, including OpenShift or Rancher, is required.
- Experience with Docker or Podman and GitLab or Jenkins pipelines is required.
- Scripting or programming abilities and GitOps experience with ArgoCD are required.
- Linux/Red Hat knowledge, Digital Twin experience, Elastic Stack experience, continuous monitoring, automated security tools, and senior-leadership presentation experience are desired.
