Responsibilities
- Build reliable, reusable, AI-ready data products for investment and enterprise use cases.
- Design and develop production-grade AI applications, agents, and intelligent workflows using Python.
- Implement agent orchestration, tool integration, retrieval, memory, and multi-step workflows.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications, data platforms, and business systems.
- Contribute to a shared AI and data platform that supports scalable intelligent applications and agents.
- Build model benchmarking, data-quality, reconciliation, retrieval, RAG, agent, regression, and production-monitoring capabilities.
- Design secure, observable, resilient, and production-ready services with automated provisioning and governed deployment.
- Use evaluation results to guide model selection, routing, release, rollback, and production-readiness decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software, data, AI, or platform engineering.
- Strong production development experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience building and operating AI applications, data pipelines, APIs, data products, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications and business workflows.
- Strong understanding of Python APIs, microservices, application integration, data modeling, data quality, metadata, lineage, streaming, event-driven architectures, workflow orchestration, distributed processing, and production operations.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, embeddings, prompt and context engineering, RAG, model APIs, AI agents, tool calling, structured outputs, retrieval, and multi-step orchestration.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Pydantic AI, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with model hosting, inference, containerized deployment, GPU-based inference, model serving, API gateways, quantization, optimization, benchmarking, and monitoring.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated provisioning, API-first and microservices architectures, containers, authentication, authorization, secrets management, OAuth, managed identities, RBAC, repository governance, and software supply-chain security.
- Hands-on experience with data-quality, model-evaluation, LLM-evaluation, or AI-observability frameworks and production validation.
- Experience with evaluation, monitoring, tracing, logging, alerting, data quality, retrieval relevance, groundedness, citations, agent behavior, latency, throughput, reliability, utilization, and cost.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or comparable tools, with the ability to independently validate generated code for correctness, security, performance, maintainability, dependencies, licensing, and compliance.
- Preferred experience includes MCP, agent-to-agent communication, enterprise search, semantic layers, ontologies, knowledge graphs, agent memory, human-in-the-loop controls, document intelligence, and multimodal processing.
