Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and operate Python backend applications and packages.
- Provide tariff information and discount decisions in real time for online and offline sales systems.
- Continuously develop the P&C Pricing Toolbox with pricing specialists.
- Take a leading role in software design for the P&C Pricing Engine.
- Collaborate with product specialists, insurance actuaries, data scientists, software developers, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Help define effective business and technical solutions for products serving private and corporate customers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an ETH, university, or university of applied sciences in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Information Systems, or comparable education focused on software development.
- Good knowledge of developing, testing, and operating Python backend applications and packages.
- Experience with backend software design.
- Interest in the data and processes handled by the code and ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders.
- Fluent German language skills.
