Base Salary
$74k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Execute manual and automated tests against documented software requirements.
- Evaluate defects, document reproduction steps, and partner with development teams through resolution.
- Analyze JSON, XML, and REST API responses to validate integrations.
- Apply quality assurance processes during Agile delivery cycles, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation.
- Contribute to peer reviews, test data preparation, quality metrics, and release-readiness improvements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software quality assurance testing experience for enterprise software applications.
- At least 2 years of automation testing experience using test automation tools or similar frameworks.
- At least 2 years of performance testing experience for web applications, APIs, or integrated systems.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile delivery environments with sprint-based planning and testing.
- At least 4 years of experience working with JSON, XML, and REST API services.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred qualifications include CI/CD tool experience, security testing experience, software development lifecycle knowledge, release management and defect tracking experience, and software testing certification such as Certified Tester Foundation Level.
