Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ecommerce backend services, APIs, and customer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Lead complex features for browsing, discovery, product pages, cart, and checkout flows.
- Architect scalable services, APIs, data models, and systems for high-traffic ecommerce workloads.
- Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and engineering teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Debug complex performance, scalability, and system stability issues across the full stack.
- Drive engineering best practices for system design, testing, performance optimization, and architecture.
- Write documented, maintainable code and develop automated tests for reliable releases.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical feedback, mentor engineers, and help raise the organization’s technical bar.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience building full-stack applications and backend services in production environments.
- Strong experience designing backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
- Experience building modern web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, service-oriented design, scalable architectures, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and scalable data models.
- Knowledge of web security principles and best practices.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives within cross-functional teams.
