Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale core infrastructure supporting existing systems and new product lines.
- Automate reliable, repeatable environments using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Advance AWS foundations including EKS, SQS, Aurora, and S3 for performance, scalability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve reliability, performance, and observability.
- Implement security best practices and strengthen protection for data and systems.
- Build tools and systems that streamline developer workflows and accelerate product delivery.
- Lead and mentor teammates while guiding architectural decisions and raising the team’s technical bar.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end infrastructure from first principles through production.
- Experience automating infrastructure and reducing operational toil through tools and workflows.
- Experience designing and maintaining highly available databases, especially Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes in distributed environments.
- Ability to improve reliability, performance, observability, security, and developer workflows.
- Ability to guide architectural decisions, document systems, review work, mentor teammates, and operate collaboratively amid ambiguity.
