Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software across the full stack, including design, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Lead design discussions and provide technical direction and architectural guidance for complex initiatives.
- Execute technical designs and technology roadmaps across teams in support of business strategy.
- Implement enterprise standards across infrastructure, data, applications, development, security, risk, and business continuity.
- Develop migration plans, analyze technology environments, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Mentor and coach engineers while driving software development best practices, code quality, and inclusive teamwork.
- Lead complex full-stack initiatives from concept through production and collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.
- At least 3 years of applicable experience taking a lead role in building complex software and automation systems delivered to customers.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale, high-quality systems.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software or infrastructure development, including design patterns and code structure.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and competition, plus strong written, oral, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
- Ability to contribute strategically and deep knowledge in at least two technical disciplines such as infrastructure, application development, APIs, cloud, middleware, servers and storage, databases, or operations.
- Understanding of network and security architecture.
- Desired qualifications include cloud-scale, performance, reliability, and system architecture experience; experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform; Java and Spring Boot; MongoDB, PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB, Redis, Rancher, Harness; and AI application development using OpenAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
