Responsibilities
- Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable cloud platform solutions.
- Develop frontend, backend, and DevOps components focused on automation and intelligent operations.
- Contribute to AIOps use cases including log and metric analysis, anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, incident insights, runbooks, and pipelines.
- Integrate AI/ML or rule-based intelligence into operational tools and services.
- Write maintainable code and develop unit tests and validation scenarios.
- Debug and improve existing systems with a focus on observability and reliability.
- Collaborate with global teams to improve DevOps pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
Requirements
- Knowledge of one or more of JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Understanding of observability, DevOps practices, Git, and pipelines is preferred.
- Interest or exposure to AI/ML concepts, anomaly detection, pattern recognition, or AI-assisted development is preferred.
- Python experience for data processing or automation is a plus.
- Applicants should be university students eligible for SAP’s internship program.
