Responsibilities
- Initiate, design, develop, and optimize software for next-generation high-end semiconductor processing products.
- Design performance-critical software and efficient data flows for real-time image processing.
- Make technical decisions supporting application scalability, performance, and efficiency.
- Develop software for hardware-dependent devices such as frame grabbers and dedicated boards.
- Profile and optimize software to meet millisecond-to-sub-millisecond performance requirements.
- Implement and optimize image-processing algorithms and work in large, highly optimized codebases.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with systems, architecture, stakeholder, and software teams.
- Contribute to products through production launch and help enhance solutions and define the technology roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least eight years of C++ experience, including C++11 or C++17.
- Experience developing hardware-dependent software for devices such as frame grabbers or dedicated boards.
- Experience with performance profiling, optimization, advanced memory management, Windows development, and large optimized codebases.
- Familiarity with modern RPC APIs, especially gRPC.
- Experience implementing and optimizing image-processing algorithms.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate closely with stakeholders and other software groups.
- Familiarity with modern CI practices including Git, unit testing, linting, static code analysis, and automated pipelines.
- Master’s degree in a related field, Linux development, containers, Kubernetes, IPP, OpenCV, and Python are advantageous.
