Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support applications for Asset Management Compliance, Risk, and Business Operations.
- Build next-generation data platforms and data ingestion pipelines on AWS.
- Create frameworks for self-service data acquisition and establish data quality processes.
- Transition data stores to the cloud and develop database components using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Perform analysis, design, estimation, development, code reviews, design reviews, and ongoing technical support.
- Evaluate cloud data tools, identify data patterns and trends, and develop solutions to business and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders in India and the US while contributing to knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL, shell scripting, Crontab, and Autosys.
- Experience with analysis, design, estimation, and development of database components.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in Python and AWS, including Python scripting for ML or AWS.
- Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting basics and job scheduling technologies such as Autosys or Crontab.
- Experience with middle-tier technologies is desirable.
- Experience with Agile or iterative development processes and acceptance test-driven development is desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, mentoring, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- BE or MCA and 6-9 years of industry experience.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate certification.
