Base Salary
$103k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and support software solutions for factory hardware, manufacturing operations, engineering, and production facilities.
- Develop applications supporting optical testing of fiber-optic products.
- Contribute to Manufacturing Execution Systems, factory automation, IoT integration, big-data applications, Factory 4.0 technologies, and cloud-enabled manufacturing solutions.
- Independently lead smaller software projects and collaborate on larger team initiatives.
- Participate in technical decision-making, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and software quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience with optical test equipment or similar devices.
- Experience developing software with C#, Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Current knowledge of enterprise software development in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Experience integrating cloud platforms with IoT solutions.
- Preferred experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL or other database technologies, fiber-optic technologies and testing, and Windows and Linux operating systems.
