Responsibilities
- Design and own the architecture roadmap of Live Sports and Discover APIs.
- Develop, support, and improve key backend systems with high availability and scalability.
- Formulate scalable and low-latency technical solutions to meet product requirements.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, establishing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in server application and system engineering using modern languages.
- Deep expertise in low-latency, high-throughput systems, performance profiling, and cost/performance trade-offs.
- Expert with one or more backend programming languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Proficient with modern cloud computing platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Strong leadership in project planning, execution, code/design reviews, and mentoring engineers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
