Base Salary
$130k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate, scalable vehicle dynamics models from road-test data using deep learning and data analysis.
- Analyze road-test data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance indicators that improve model accuracy.
- Integrate data-driven models into simulation pipelines.
- Design and implement automated pipelines for periodic model training, evaluation, and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to reproduce and resolve issues from real-world road tests.
- Ensure technical work meets customer requirements, regulatory standards, company quality policies, and Quality Management System requirements.
Requirements
- MS with 3+ years of relevant experience or PhD new graduate in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience applying deep learning to time-series forecasting and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and experience working in large codebases.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art deep learning models and their applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include C++, autonomous vehicle prediction, planning and control, conventional vehicle dynamics modeling, and autonomous vehicle or robotics simulation experience.
