Responsibilities
- Create and maintain moderate to highly complex applications, data infrastructure, reporting solutions, and workflows.
- Participate in all project lifecycle phases, including requirements definition, solution design, application development, deployment, maintenance, and system testing.
- Analyze end-user data needs and develop user-oriented solutions that integrate with existing applications.
- Develop, test, debug, and automate functional unit testing for applications.
- Maintain work-process documentation and participate in system, platform, and software upgrades.
- Collaborate across internal business teams, provide backup support, and assist with team planning and growth strategy.
- Ensure execution of applicable information security compliance matters within the team.
- Provide training on business functionality to system end users.
- Coach junior developers in the design, development, and deployment of full-stack web applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable business or technical experience.
- At least 7-10 years of application development experience involving programming, data management, collection, modeling, and interpretation across complex data sets.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, Angular, and server-side .NET programming.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached, Varnish, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, database design and management, authentication and authorization, Windows Server infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing strategies, enterprise integration patterns, service-oriented architecture, and microservices.
- Ideally, experience with stream processing, event-driven architecture, messaging protocols, and data engineering.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a broader team and rapidly learn new tools, languages, and frameworks.
